We found the location convenient for just about everything, and the price was decent. Staff interactions were pleasant, and it felt like a safe place to sleep for the week. Still, over our eight-day stay nobody serviced the room, so we had to fetch fresh towels and toilet paper ourselves. It reeked of cigarettes when we arrived, and on day four we finally found an old cigarette butt in the AC. The room was run-down, and the mattresses need replacing.

A bed bug was crawling on my hand when I woke up. I killed it, packed right away, and went to the desk. They had no other room available, so I waited for one to open up. While waiting, I heard an employee complain about all the calls from people seeking refunds for bugs in their rooms. One guy was apparently refusing to leave his supposedly infested room, which seemed strange. The hotel only refunded me for the days I wouldn’t be staying, which was something, I guess, but not good enough. Don’t come here. They’ve had bed bugs repeatedly and nothing has been done. I’m not even counting the cockroach I found. At least those don’t bite.

During Spartan Race weekend in October 2025, I stayed at Econo Lodge Lebanon, about 15 minutes from Neals Farms. Sabrina was professional and had a great personality. My second-floor non-smoking room was comfortable and well maintained. Everything worked, including the TV, fridge, microwave, and lights. The water pressure was good, and the mattress was comfortable. I felt secure and could see my Jeep from the window. The other staff were pleasant and greeted me with smiles when Sabrina wasn’t there. Thanks to everyone at this location for making the stay comfortable. God Bless.

After one night at the Econo Lodge off I-40 on S. Cumberland Rd in Lebanon, TN, I had bed bug bites all over my face, neck, and arms. I looked like I had the measles. I showed them to the manager as I left, and another customer came in saying her whole family had been bitten too. The manager didn’t apologize to either of us. I went to a nearby doctor who took my insurance to confirm they were fresh bed bug bites, then returned and told Tanya. She didn’t say they’d close the room to inspect it. When I asked about the procedure, she said they don’t close rooms, they spray Lysol on the mattresses and wait for the next complaint before spraying again. I sat in my car outside the room for just an hour and a half, and they rented it to someone else without even going in to check the mattresses. Pay a little more and stay elsewhere. Locals will tell you this place is known for bed bugs and roaches in every room.
