Pam made us feel welcome and went out of her way to accommodate what we needed. We also loved the wine and cheese in the evening, and breakfast was delicious. The historic home was kept immaculate, with lovely grounds to explore and a pool to relax beside. My husband and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend getaway from NYC, and it was a great base for seeing the Berkshires.

We picked Room 8 for its king bed and huge jacuzzi tub, just what we wanted after skiing and snowboarding at Ski Butternut in the winter cold. The room was spacious, very clean and quiet, and had everything we could need for a longer stay. The staff were exceptional and helpful with ideas for the area, and breakfast was delicious. My wife and I stayed two midweek nights in March while visiting the Berkshires, and we felt spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Applegate.

Pam always makes us feel at home. We come for our annual visit and stay in the cottage suite, which is lovely and works well for two couples or a family. It's beautiful and well kept every time. We also look forward to the tasty breakfast and wine and cheese at 5.
