Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Richardson

My only real concern was the AC. It was very quiet, and there was no way to leave the fan running continuously. I needed white noise to sleep, though that's more my personal preference than an issue with the hotel. The room was clean, and breakfast and the evening Kickback food and drinks were excellent. A wonderful stay.

The breakfast and happy hour reception were well organized, with a great selection, and the pool was always warm. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, and the staff clearly takes great care of it. Management is hands on, walking around and greeting guests. I've stayed at Drury Inns often because they usually offer good value, but this location has been off the charts. The staff are welcoming from the moment you come in, pleasant without overdoing it, and seem genuinely happy working together. It's the best hotel experience I've had in years. Highly recommend.

The free breakfast buffet had a lot more variety than the small free dinner buffet, which we didn't have time to try. Breakfast was very good. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had hot water with good pressure. We could hear some traffic at night, but it wasn't too bad. The elevators are noisy, so ask for a room away from them. The parking garage may be awkward if you can't find the elevator, though the stairwell opens right into the hotel. With lots of bags, I'd check in and take them to the room before parking in the garage.

Our Airbnb had a serious sewer problem while the house was being repaired, so we needed a hotel fast. We found Drury Inn Richardson and love it here. It's extremely clean, the parking lot is well lit, and the service is outstanding. Our four-legged friend, Brody, has lots of room in the king suite for his kennel and to play. He loves staying here, and we'll be back.
