For the price and location, this is a solid choice. Our hot tub cabin room had just been remodeled and was very clean. It had no smell like some older reviews mentioned, and the floors were clean too; I checked by walking around in socks. I have teenagers and usually avoid hotels and resorts because they can be loud, but the rooms must be soundproofed. We could hear people going up and down the stairs, yet there were no complaints from our room. The rustic look doesn't mean it's old, and it was great that pets are welcome since our dog is family. I'd give it five stars if it were more technically what people expect.

It's right in the middle of the action, which is great if that's what you're after. The hotel and rooms look freshly updated compared with most Pigeon Forge hotels. I booked through booking.com and got a room facing the road; it was noisy all night, though that's not the hotel's fault. The view was of a nice creek, and pets are allowed.

The room was clean and comfy, with a generously sized TV for movie nights and a nice jacuzzi tub. We liked the nearby dog-walking spots too, where we could get some fresh air and let our pup explore. This cabin-style hotel made for a peaceful little break, while restaurants, shops, and local attractions were still a short drive away. A good stay for a quick retreat with convenience and comfort.

We left because the place felt unsafe and unfit to stay in, and the owners wouldn't fix the issues or refund us. It was filthy, outdated, dimly lit, and nothing like the online photos; I worried about bugs or getting sick. There were stains on the couches right when we entered, and the other rooms they offered were just as bad. Their key cards and faulty door handles also made it hard to get into our room. Even the remote's back cover was missing, leaving a choking hazard for kids and pets. I wish I could give it negative stars. Don't waste your money.
