Leech Lake Resort Bed & Breakfast

The lake views from the inn, some of the rooms, shared areas, and deck are beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock and using the swing on the lawn. There were also plenty of little extras, including wine, snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate, and we had delicious breakfasts. Inside, the north woods style decor is charming, though the room we stayed in and the entry area could use updating. Breakfast was served around a European style seating arrangement. The owners joined us, shared stories, and drew everyone into conversation. They were also helpful and informative about local attractions and places to eat.

A great base for exploring Walker, Bemidji, or Park Rapids, and a lovely place to slow down and relax. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, and there were plenty of amenities. We’ll be back!

The large house is beautiful and rustic, with lots of views of the lake. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with its own bathroom and a jacuzzi tub with jets. Gary and Sandra went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable. They served a gourmet breakfast with the other guests, and we had some lovely conversations. Thanks again, Gary and Sandra. We’ll definitely stay again and recommend the place to others 😊

Our Labor Day and anniversary weekend plans changed at the last minute, and we suddenly had nowhere to stay. Thank goodness there was an opening in the honeymoon suite. It was cozy, with a comfy bed, a big bathroom, a fireplace, and beautiful lake views. We brought our boat and were lucky to be able to dock it here too, which was so convenient. Gary and Sandra are sweet, helpful hosts who are clearly passionate about what they do. Each morning we had a wonderful home cooked breakfast before heading out for our outdoor adventures. There are plenty of biking trails, golfing, and fishing nearby. Lots to do up here. We highly recommend staying here for a friendly, relaxing atmosphere right on the lake. Thank you!
