Hampton Inn Lehi-Thanksgiving Point

I checked in at 1:30 a.m. and specifically asked for a quiet room. Less than four hours later, kids screaming and running down the halls woke me at 5:30. At 6:00, I told the staff member on duty about the noise. He apologized and said breakfast was ready, but it absolutely wasn't. The hot food was ice cold, freshly put out and already cold, with nothing being checked or monitored. Food at refrigerator temperature in warming trays didn't seem safe, so I wouldn't eat it. I stuck to coffee and a waffle, the only things that seemed edible and low-risk. Before heading to the office, I tried to shower, but water sprayed everywhere, including across the floor and bathroom. Then I found dirty underwear behind the TV, not mine, and clearly missed by housekeeping. Noise, food safety, maintenance, and cleanliness all failed here. I'd never stay again and strongly advise people to choose another hotel. Hampton Inn should be reliable and consistent, but this location didn't meet even low expectations. This is at Silicone Slopes, where so much money and new companies are starting. We have 40+ employees coming into town this quarter, and none will stay here. One star only because zero isn't an option.

The room's location was my favorite thing, right by the amenities, and we were grateful to find a room nearby at the last minute just before Christmas. The bath was nice and reclined, and the hot tub was amazing, though its jets didn't work. I was glad it wasn't closed for servicing. The pool was freezing. The room had a TV, fridge, microwave, desk, drawers, and nightstands. The beds and sheets were both firm but soft, and they offered breakfast and were pet friendly. There's also a laundry room and workout room. We were on the first floor and could hear every footstep as someone ran around upstairs for hours, well into the night. The toilet paper was thin and fell apart. The AC was set to 69 all night, but somehow the room got roasting as the night went on.

The front desk clerk apologized and did her due diligence to make it right. She was awesome, and offered to move us to a double queen room since there were no king rooms available. Thank you. We were staying with family, so we booked a room at the Lehi Hampton for the night, but were super disappointed. It felt like a glorified Motel 6. The room hadn't been vacuumed or mopped, the tub was dirty, and there was hair from the last guest everywhere, including on the sheets. We had just two bath towels that were thin, old, and ratty, and the bedding was poor too. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn in South Jordan or Springville, which are wonderful every time. Hilton's brand doesn't shine like it used to.

The bathroom was gross, the room needed cleaning, and I questioned whether the sheets had been changed. The receptionist wasn't there when I checked in, so I had to wait far too long. This place is a dump. Hamptons have become garbage. I'm a Diamonds Member, and once I've used all my points and free nights, I'll start staying at Marriots. The Hilton on the north side of I-15 is nice, so stay there instead.
