Mahoning Inn

We came to town for a show at Penns Peak, an easy 15-minute drive away, and this place cost half as much as the other area hotels while being better than them. Room 16 had a balcony out back. Check-in and parking near the room were easy. There was fresh coffee and ice in the lobby, plus coffee with flavored creamer and tea in the room. The bed and pillows were very clean and comfortable, and the lounge chair and desk chair were both comfy. All the lights worked. The bathroom had a great shower and water pressure, and the temperature-controlled AC and heater worked quietly and perfectly. The fridge and microwave were a good size, and the TV had an easy remote and channel guide. Breakfast was a nice continental spread: cereal, bagels, a waffle maker, coffee, milk, and other drinks. An Exxon convenience store and gas station nearby had great hot food and desserts. Easy stay, amazing hotel.

We got great value for the money, and I'd happily stay again. The room was at the back, where we sat outside in the morning with coffee and a view of the mountain. The place was neat and very clean, and both the manager and staff were friendly and accommodating. The manager was especially welcoming.

It's not the 4-Seasons, but it has four walls, direct-tv, and temperature control. For $105, waking up to a mountain view is pretty great. Complimentary waffles and hot coffee in the morning are a nice deal, my friend.
