We had a really enjoyable stay on the Big Island and would definitely recommend it. The accommodations were excellent, and the people were so friendly. Jim and Jim answered all our questions and gave us great suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was delicious, with ingredients from their wonderful garden.

The Jims made us feel welcome in this beautiful area, and my wife and I had an excellent stay in the Palm Room in January. Don't miss breakfast. We nearly skipped it to get an early start for Volcano Park, but I'm glad we didn't. Stay here, see some lava, visit the Volcano Park, and enjoy. We'll be back!

Jim and Jim really added to the stay. They're friendly and know the area well. I loved the outdoor shower, which is a must, and the place itself is awesome. It was my first trip to Hawaii, but I'll definitely come back. Thanks to you both for sharing your tropical paradise with us.

Our three nights at Kimos Ohanas were unforgettable. Jim and Jim are excellent hosts, and we learned about local trails and volcanoes from their knowledge of the area. The home-cooked breakfast included garden fruit and eggs from their chickens.

There isn't much to add when a stay feels about as perfect as it can. Jim & Jim are great, and the accommodations are peaceful and beautiful. For a break from tourists and the usual Hawaii experience, Pāhoa and Puna district are where you want to be. Do something different.
