The other employees are really nice and friendly too, and that helps make the place feel like home. Kaleb’s service is amazing. He’s understanding, unlike most hotel employees.

We didn’t deal with the night staff here, but we left the other place because of its night staff. This one’s staff are just as nice during the day. The room had cobwebs and didn’t really feel worth $500 a week. Still, at least there aren’t car alarms going off day and night like at the Extended Stay two miles away.

The beds are comfortable, the front desk staff are very helpful, and they allow pets. If you need an extended stay, this is probably the nicest one around.

The noise and weed smell make this one of my worst hotel experiences over the decades. The walls are so thin I can hear people in the next room breathing. They smoke pot, and I have to air out my room every day. It makes me feel sick, and I don’t even get a buzz. I complained, but management hasn’t fixed it or worked out where the strong smell is coming from. They just don’t care to find out. The room is OK otherwise, except there’s no sink stopper. I bought a screen so small things won’t disappear down the drain. It has linoleum flooring, and I had to vacuum, especially along the edges by the door, where dried mud nodules were being tracked all over the room. Light comes in all around the door from inside, so you get lots of interstate noise. You’d think they wouldn’t want the winter heat escaping up here, but maybe it’s part of a ventilation plan that isn’t working. I’ll try the extended stay up the street in Merriam. I’ve been there before, and it was quieter with no skunk weed smell. Extended stays never have enough parking when full, but the spots here are too small for 4WD trucks and the like, so expect door dings. With the Panasonic manufacturing plant going up nearby, the area will probably be very full through 2027.
