Red Roof Inn Lenoir

I drove eight hours for a four-night stay and checked in around 11pm. There was nowhere to park on a Thursday night. A spot finally opened about a football field away from my room. I'm disabled and had asked for a first-floor room. The spot I ended up in had a large red sign warning that they weren't responsible for theft, damage, or vandalism to vehicles and to park at your own risk. Once I reached the room, the bedside lamp and microwave didn't work, and the TV wouldn't turn on. The toilet was filthy, with feces stuck inside the bowl and on the broken seat. I couldn't reach the front desk by phone, and the 800 number only gave me a message. The manager called the next morning, apologized, and offered to comp the first night and fix everything if I stayed. I agreed, but at checkout they changed it to $20 off. That wasn't our agreement. They never fixed anything or cleaned my room, and charged full price for the first night, acting as if I'd made up the offer. I showed pictures of bed bug bites on my legs and arms, but they denied those too. I have the photos to prove it. I'll never stay there again. They're liars, dishonest crooks. Stay at the REDROOF at your own risk. Beware!
