The whole property was spotless and beautifully looked after, and we left feeling rested and restored. Staff were warm and attentive throughout, and it was striking how many people we spoke with had worked there for years. That says a lot about the care behind the scenes. The concierge team also answered our questions before the trip, which made planning easy. There was plenty to enjoy at a relaxed pace. The spa hours were long, so we could make good use of the cold plunge, hot tub, sauna, and steam rooms. My facial was such a relaxing treat. The restaurants were delicious too, and the class schedule had a thoughtful mix of wellness, fitness, and mindfulness, with engaging, knowledgeable instructors. Highly recommend for a wellness getaway.

The classes were fun and never overpacked, which I really appreciated, and the spa, including the pool, was impeccably clean. Food was great too, and the staff were SUPER attentive about my allergies. Alex deserves a shout out, he’s incredible. From the minute we arrived, there were staff around and everyone was polite and helpful. I like that tips are included, since it’s one less thing to think about, and I hope that means the staff are well compensated. We’ve been to Tucson before, but this location has something extra special about it. As long as they keep up this level of service and offerings, we’ll be back.

The air conditioning issue was the worst part of our June visit. The weather was warm, the hallways felt hot, and the cafe was shut down, leaving us without another option. Nobody told us it was closed until we arrived there, and the problem was never addressed. I’d been praising Canyon Ranch for years, so bringing my two adult daughters and having this experience was especially disappointing. I’d been a guest more than 15 times over 25 years and had always had a wonderful time, though I hadn’t returned in six years. This visit felt nothing like the Canyon Ranch I remembered. Fitness classes were more limited, and the app pushed us to sign up in advance even though we didn’t always know what we’d feel like taking. Dining room staff were polite, but service was so slow we had to rush to class despite leaving plenty of time to eat and relax. After I left, I sent suggestions. Canyon Ranch called and I was glad they wanted to discuss them, but the message asked me to call back. I did that on three different occasions and never got a return call. Shame on Canyon Ranch for not following up with a long time guest.

The people you meet here are kind, and the guests are wonderful too. Between the spa, gym, grounds, outdoor activities, and caring staff, it all adds up to an amazing resort.
