Walking around downtown was easy, with ice cream, boutiques, and great restaurants all close by. I was here for a two-week business trip, and the staff exceeded what we expected. Jac and Mrs. Kim at the front desk were amazing and did so much to help us. I hope we can stay here again when we’re back for work.

The rooms were awesome, and everyone on staff was really nice. We stayed at this Inn for the 2026 lsc Maryland 14 & under championship swim meet, and they put breakfast out earlier than usual for the swimmers. Definitely recommend it.

The room was clean, but I left feeling I’d overpaid for the Inn’s one and only “Suite.” We’d had a great long weekend there in the spring, with a good room and accommodations, so this stay from Oct. the 9th through Sunday the 11th was a letdown. The three large windows leave a huge empty area that could fit a small table and 2-3 chairs. There’s a kitchenette for putting together small meals, but nowhere to sit and eat them. The bed is at one end of the short wall and the TV at the other, so it’s hard to see the screen. You can’t hear it unless you blast it, and there’s another room on the other side of that wall. There were cobwebs in both corners by the bed. The shower and tub grout was very mold-covered. The Jacuzzi Tub was broken, but when I told the desk, I was told it was a “soak tub.” Any tub is for soaking, but if the jets don’t work, it’s a broken Jacuzzi Tub. The flags at the Inn’s main entrance were badly tattered and torn and need replacing. I’ve spent most of my life not complaining about dissatisfaction. Thank you.

The location made it easy to walk to town attractions, restaurants, the bakery, theater, and shops. Rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly.

I booked a room so I could fly up when my daughter needed appendix surgery. An hour later, I found out they weren’t going to operate and she didn’t need surgery, so I tried to cancel. Jacquelyn at the front desk told me, “I’m sorry, unfortunately the rules are the rules.” She was condescending and rude on the phone. I’d suggest staying elsewhere unless you’re prepared for bureaucratic employees. Update: Bonnie, I never used foul language, and now I’m a deplorable? 😂 Okay, Hilary Clinton. That attitude didn’t work out well for her, and it won’t for you either. The bureaucracy and condescension from behind your ivory tower in Leonardtown roll downhill and explain the awful phone service I got from your employee. I’ve run numerous companies and would never accept an employee speaking to or treating a customer the way your company treated me. Have fun defending it. Hope that works out for you. There are plenty of hotel choices with management that doesn’t call people deplorable. You’re obviously from the same culture as many of today’s entitled young people. You’re not entitled to my business, whatever your performance, and clearly don’t want to take responsibility for your management style or your employees’ lack of empathy. I’ll stay somewhere else, and I hope readers make their own decision and do the same. Maybe then you’ll realize your job is in “Hospitality,” not the Post Office. Your attitude and comments would be welcome there. Maybe a career change is in order??? I hear you can call all your customers deplorable there without consequences. Sounds like a perfect fit for you!!!!
