Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lewisburg

The breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and Tana, the breakfast hostess, was so kind and made our time special. Ashley at the front desk was very polite and made check-in easy. All the hotel staff were friendly, and our room was very clean. I’d highly recommend anyone stay at this Marriott property.

We won’t stay at this location again. The service was rude, and the payment situation felt like a scandal. I’d be calling corporate, and Fairfield by Marriott needs to do better. I’ve had better service at Super 8 motels. The night before, I asked the desk lady if we could pay half in cash and half by card with our grandparents, who are out of town. They politely said they needed a card for an account hold that night, nothing would be charged then, and we could pay in the morning. But when we woke up and tried to split the payment, a man at the desk was extremely rude and said they’d charged the room the night before and there was no such thing as paying half in cash. I told him the manager had said the night before that it was possible, but only in the morning. We were charged in full overnight. The website said 170$, but after tax the rate was 220. Housekeepers and breakfast employees also seemed really rude, like they didn’t even want to be there. It would have been fine if they’d at least been polite, but they were nothing but rude.

Since 2020, we’ve loved every stay at this Fairfield Inn. The pool is big and there’s a hot tub too, and the breakfast has great variety. Common spaces and rooms are huge and impeccably clean, and the staff are kind and attentive. There are thoughtful touches all around, like decorations, candy bowls in the dinning room, and comfortable pool towels.

The breakfast really sets this Fairfield Inn apart. When we were there, they had fresh blueberries and candy dishes for guests. It’s one of the best Fairfield Inns we’ve visited. The AC was great, not too loud, and had a continuous fan. Clean, comfortable, and no smells.
