Inn America - Lewiston

Janice at the front desk took care of everything we needed, even getting us a couple of extra pillows. She made our stay feel like we were with family. We had a great experience at the in America. Good food, a cozy atmosphere, and nice people. Definitely worth booking.

I drove up from Boise toward Spokane and stopped at the last minute without a booking, hoping to sleep for 2-3 hours before getting back on the road. It was 2 in the morning, and the woman at the desk was a sweetheart who even put together a little care package. The service here is amazing, and I wish her the best. The rooms are what you pay for, not luxury, but enough to sleep. This was just a quick stop for us, but I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lewiston for a place to sleep and friendly service. If you want luxury rooms, go somewhere else.

We checked in for multiple days and immediately found a hole in the wall and a terrible smell. The front desk told me the repair person had quit the day before and may have left the repair unfinished. I also learned they’d treated a neighboring room for bed bugs the night before. They indicated we probably shouldn’t be in the room with the hole and the bed bug treatment nearby. I asked for a refund, and they agreed, so we checked out. Since leaving, we’ve been denied the refund. We were told there hadn’t been proper approval, so they wouldn’t honor what we’d been told verbally. Avoid this place. The hosting conditions and what the leadership offers are seriously disconnected.

This old motel needs a lot of repairs. The key works, but the handle won’t unlatch the door, and the bathroom doorknob is almost falling off. The chair is so worn it belongs in the dump. The pool has green gunk, and the TV only gets local channels, including two news channels and two PBS stations. Music from the bar next door is extremely loud until the early hours, and even the fan can’t cover it. There are only three chairs in the breakfast area, so you have to eat in your room. The rating is way higher than the actual accommodations.
