Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lewisville, TX

I came hoping to relax and get some work done, but got stuck in the elevator. Management was there when it happened and still refused a refund. All they offered was candy from the store. The room fridge didn’t work, and weed and heavily spiced food smells drifted in from somewhere on the floor while I was trying to sleep. Breakfast was reheated from the previous morning. I work in food service, and that’s dangerous and grounds for the hotel to be shut down. Poor upkeep, disregard for safety, and unprofessional management made this one of my worst hotel stays.

I’d booked two nights in a King Suite with a sofa bed for myself and my kids, but the sofa bed had no mattress, pillows, or blankets. Staff wouldn’t help and actually argued that this was how a sofa bed was supposed to be. They don’t seem to care here. The place smelled bad and the staff were terrible. I wasn’t expecting much given the low rate, but this was still total garbage. I’m getting a refund for the second night and have videos as proof.

There were eyelashes stuck to the wall in my room, among other signs of dirt. I asked to move, but the next room was just as disgusting. It smelled so bad and was so dirty that I couldn’t stand being there. I left without getting a refund and paid for another hotel instead. One of my worst stays, and the place was badly outdated, too.

Coming here after work was a blessing. They’re flexible, reliable, clean, and friendly. I can’t remember the young man’s name, but I think it was Jack. He was at the desk and went above and beyond for me. The staff are all super friendly. I highly recommend this place :)
