Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lexington North

When we come, this hotel and the service are just right for us. Melissa is always there at check-in, gives us the best service, and makes sure we’re taken care of. She even remembers that my name ends with an “I,” not a “Y.” Thanks to all of you for always looking after us.

The kids liked the pool, though it was small. The bed was old and creaked a lot. The place is dated and needs renovations or updates. For a similar price, there are better choices, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

I felt a little itchy in the bed, but thankfully there were no bed bugs. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night while my boyfriend and I were moving cross-country. I contacted management and got no answer. Holiday Inn and quality inn next door seemed better. Should’ve picked one of those instead of thinking fair field inn would be nicer :/

I stayed late at night during a Florida-to-Toronto stopover, hoping for somewhere quiet and clean to rest. The room was in completely unacceptable shape. There were carpet stains and wrappers in the drawers. The bathroom was filthy, with hair all over the tub and floor, peeling wallpaper with visible mold behind it, and grimy chairs that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. This is nowhere near what I expect from a Fairfield property. I waited until morning to raise the problems, but the front desk attendant showed no interest in dealing with them. I later emailed Mr. Garcia, the general manager, and didn’t even get a reply. It was an awful stay that reflects poor management and a lack of basic cleanliness standards. I’ll never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid this location.
