Hilton Garden Inn Lexington Hamburg

Paige at the desk was so warm and helpful, and never acted bothered when I asked for anything. She made me feel at home, almost like family. The cleaning staff were friendly too and always greeted me with smiles. We were there for two nights, and the beds were wonderful, everything was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked great. The location is close to lots of activities and places to eat, and there's a restaurant inside. There’s also a pantry for forgotten items or a snack or drink. My only complaint is that I had to leave. I wish the trip had been longer, and I recommend staying here.

I wouldn't bring a group here unless the night staff and GM change. I was kicked out after trying to sort things out with the staff, and I've never been treated this way at a hotel. They wouldn't let parents sit in the lobby and suggested we go outside by the fire pit while it was raining. They threatened to remove us if we were too loud, saying sound carries in the domed lobby. This was around 8:15 pm, well before quiet hours. Our boys were in the conference room, so we gathered nearby. Eighteen 12-year-old boys can make some noise, but they quieted down as soon as the meeting began. It felt like they were blaming us for behavior from earlier guests. I'll be contacting corporate to share what happened. John was great.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel had a welcoming feel. Breakfast was the highlight for me. Each morning Tabitha greeted me with a bright smile, and her cheerful attitude made starting the day so much nicer. The whole staff showed great hospitality, but Tabitha's kindness especially stood out. She's a real asset to the team.

Breakfast was good, and the front desk was really helpful and friendly. I left my Kindle behind, called them, and they picked it up from the room and held it until we could come back.
