Sleep Inn & Suites Virginia Horse Center

UPDATE TO RESPOND TO COMMENT BELOW: The rooms were nice, but it took a while for the shower water to get hot. When it finally did, there was dirt in the water. They said there were water issues and they were working to fix them. The fire alarm went off four times, waking the whole hotel. Many people left, but we stayed after being told we'd get a full refund. We received only part of it. We didn't eat breakfast and left. Before we were ready, someone came into our room. I wouldn't recommend this at all! RESPONSE: I understand the water issue was out of your control, and we stayed, but nobody apologized. We were promised a full refund and got only part of it. I also told staff I was still getting ready at 10 am, but that didn't stop a gentleman from opening the door and seeing me in the bathroom trying to finish getting dressed. Thanks for the partial refund and the lack of privacy.

The staff were awesome, and the rooms were great. They even adjusted breakfast hours for the horse show, which made early mornings easier. The breakfast itself was the usual hotel spread. The location right by the horse park was very convenient.

For the price, this is a good value, though the hotel could use some renovation. The staff were really friendly. Gas and food are nearby, and Lexington is only a short drive away for anything else.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the Virginia Horse Center was close by. The A/C was inconsistent, though, and at this time of year it was hard to keep the room below 80°.
