The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely kept. The owner was especially easygoing and one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The sink was filthy and clogged when I tried to wash my hands, and the tub backed up when I turned on the shower. The bed left my whole body aching. There were insects all over the area just outside our room, and when I opened the door quickly, some got inside. I even found bugs on the carpet already. My husband and I were only passing through and chose this place after reading the positive reviews. Maybe they were old, or maybe those guests were lucky, but trusting them was a terrible choice. It was a horrible, detestable stay.

If you're coming to Liberal, I recommend stopping at American inn. The owner keeps the established hotel in good shape, the rooms are very clean, and housekeeping and service were excellent and friendly.

The owner was friendly and happy to offer recommendations. The motel itself was clean and had plenty of space. I’d stay again when we’re back, definitely 10/10.

The staff were amazing, and the rooms were clean. We had a great stay and would recommend this place to anyone. I’ll be back when I’m in town again.
