Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lima

We were here last weekend for a college open house for our grandson. The rooms were clean and everything was easy to get to. Nick at the front desk was especially pleasant and went out of his way to help my husband, who has health and walking issues. A couple of other employees also went above and beyond when we had trouble with our room key. Thank you.

The room was clean and the shower had great pressure. Both women at the front desk, when we checked in and out, were extremely friendly. The breakfast area was clean and had lots of choices, including cage-free chicken eggs and organic meat.

The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. But the saltwater pool was closed for long-term maintenance, and the exercise room was shut after water damage. Trains behind the motel kept blowing their horns until midnight. The bathroom had no outlet, trash can, or sink stopper, and the sink drained slowly. The TV was tiny compared with the one at the Best Western in Winchester KY.

The room was clean and nice, breakfast was great, and the front desk staff were polite. The location worked perfectly for me, about five minutes from work. My only real gripe was the TV remote, which barely worked, and there were no movie channels, just subscription apps apart from Pluto. I’d stay again, though another nearby hotel is just as good and gives me a really good rate. I come here now and then for a change.
