Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lima by IHG

The blackout shades made it easy to get a good night's sleep, and the hotel was clean and modern. Breakfast was included, with a tasty selection of continental food. It's also handy for I-75 and several nearby restaurants.

The staff made a difficult trip easier for us. When my husband and I came to Lima to visit our son, I got sick the day after we arrived. Early Friday morning, we decided I needed to go to the local ER. A man on the night shift quietly came to check on me and asked whether he could pray for me. I never learned his name, but I carried that kindness with me through my hospital visit. While I was unexpectedly in the hospital, the team was patient and flexible with my husband as he tried to extend our stay without knowing how long we’d need to be in town. We’re deeply grateful for their compassion. The hotel itself was spotless, quiet, and seemed practically brand new. The bed was very comfortable, and my husband says the breakfast was excellent. The price was affordable, too. We can’t thank everyone enough for making the hotel a place of comfort during such a hard time.

The coffee was delicious, but breakfast was just okay. The beds hurt my back, and there was hardly any water pressure. The towels were small and felt like sandpaper. At least the rooms and hotel didn’t smell like animal pee or dirty dogs, and the rooms themselves were nice.

Our King suite was clean and just right. Since it had a little kitchenette, I’d have preferred a table with two chairs instead of only a desk, which would’ve made it nicer for meals with my wife. Still, it was really nice.
