Baymont by Wyndham Limon

We picked this place because it was a Wyndham property, but there are better hotels in the area. The main issue was how hard it was to find anyone at the desk. When we arrived around 9:30 or 10:00, the clerk gave us a key, then went back outside to talk with a man in a truck. Later, the ice machine wasn't working, and nobody was around to tell us we had to go upstairs for ice. There was also no one at the desk in the morning when we checked out. The hotel is being remodeled, and the halls had been redone, maybe the lobby too. Our room was okay and fairly clean, with no bugs. One bed was comfortable, the other wasn't, and the air conditioning worked great. The window sheers looked like a wild animal had gotten hold of them, lol. Hot water was good, but the toiletries were disappointing. Breakfast didn't measure up to other hotels we've stayed at, though the waffles were good.

The staff were outstanding, really friendly, and the location was easy to reach from the highway. The room wasn't spotless, but it was clean enough. There was a mark on the comforter that looked like blood, the carpet was a bit dirty, and nobody had vacuumed behind the tables. The rest of the cleaning seemed decent. I'd stay again.

I wouldn't recommend this place if you care about cleanliness and comfort. The bathroom was a bit dirty, with dirt on the shower floor towel, and the room floor was dirty too. The walls and doors were scuffed and grimy. Breakfast was underwhelming, and the yogurt was expired and already open. Drinks were limited to coffee, milk, or orange juice, with no water. It looks worn. Priceline Express Deals listed it as a 2.5-star hotel, but I'd barely give it 2 stars. When I asked for late checkout because of a work conference call, the younger desk clerk said no and seemed eager to get back outside to socialize with friends.

Staff were friendly, and the place was pretty clean apart from a hairy bed. The beds themselves were comfy, and the showers got hot. It was kind of noisy, though, and the pool was pretty gross. I wouldn't exactly recommend it, but it's not the worst choice.
