That fireplace was a nice surprise, and the big sink came in handy. The room was clean and roomy, and the staff were kind. Before heading out for the evening, they sent a message to check whether we needed anything last minute. There was also a cute pet basket with a bowl, blanket, and towels. We forgot about breakfast, so we missed it. The storm meant we couldn’t enjoy the deck, which was a shame. We had a great stay and would come back.

The room looked lovely, and I slept really well in the comfortable bed. The shower was fantastic, though the toilet seat was so loose I worried it might come off. I’d have liked two comfortable chairs in the room. The front desk staff were very helpful, and I’ll be back.

Getting a luxurious room at a reasonable price is hard, but they’ve managed it here. I loved the views from the room, the direct beach access, and all the decks and outdoor spaces. The room had a small kitchen area and a luxury shower with both a rain head and a removable one. The fireplace was especially cool since you can change its color. It was such a relaxing stay and still within my budget. They’re dog friendly too. Truly the best hotel I’ve stayed at along the Oregon coast.

I liked how convenient the location was, and stepping from the porch straight onto the beach was great. My room had a really nice view. Breakfast was basic but useful for a quick bite, with coffee, yogurt, cereal, protein bars, granola bars, and muffins. The part that bothered me was being asked on check-in day to switch to a second-floor room. I’d booked two months ahead and picked the first floor because I was traveling with a baby and an elderly person and didn’t want to manage stairs. I understand they were trying to accommodate another guest, but the last-minute request put me in an awkward spot and made me feel almost guilty for saying no. I’d planned around that room, so it wasn’t ideal. It’s a nice property and the location is a big plus, but guests shouldn’t feel pressured to change rooms when they booked in advance with specific needs.

The Captain’s Quarters was just right for my mom’s 70th birthday, and we booked two more rooms that were just as nice. Everything was clean and cute, with beautiful views and a quiet, peaceful feel. The beach was amazing and easy to reach. The hotel manager was very sweet and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!
