The view was lovely, and I saw a seal from the window. At low tide you can look for treasures along the bay, and when it’s high you can walk down and swim. But the location was about the only good thing. I had a room with an unmade bed and bags of trash, so after hauling my things up to the top floor I had to go back down for another. While I waited, someone else asked to move because their room smelled bad and felt old and dingy. The next room seemed clean and had no odd smell, but it had problems of its own. The bathroom light only worked after I switched on the extremely loud fan, then toggled the light off and on. None of the outlets beside the bed worked, so my lamp and phone charger had to go across the room. I had to get up to turn the lamp off, and my phone was far away while I slept. I didn’t want to risk another room being gross or smelling weird, so I put up with it for one night. The beds were okay, but the pillows felt old and none were soft or fluffy, even with six to choose from across the two beds. I could hear someone snoring through the wall. The service, or their systems, needs work, and the rooms need help. The convenient location and bay view were nice, but the stay wasn’t great.
