We stayed in room #1, with two bedrooms, a huge living room facing the ocean, and a kitchen and dining room that also face the ocean. The eating area deserves five stars on its own. It’s incredibly close to the beach, about 40 yards away, with amazing views, and it was very quiet. The fireplace wouldn’t work, but the maintenance guy kept trying to light the pilot and brought space heaters for the February chill when he couldn’t get it going. He was very nice. It was a great stay, and a working fireplace would’ve made it a five-star weekend. I’ve stayed in all the rooms here, and they’re all amazing. Highly recommend 😄

We stayed in #3, a spacious unit with a separate bedroom, living room, and kitchenette. It doesn’t have a hot tub, but there’s a nice jetted tub inside. Everything was clean and ready for us. I’d been worried after reading earlier reviews, so I called ahead. They said it was under new management and asked me to come to them right away if anything was wrong. Bring your own dishes, silverware, dish towels, and kitchen soap; current restrictions mean they don’t provide those, to keep things as clean and sterilized as possible. The ocean view was lovely by day and night. From the main floor, it’s a bit of a walk along the building and down a few steps to the main staircase to the beach, so it wouldn’t work for ADA needs. There’s a ramp to the unit, but the tub has no grab bars and may be hard for some people to get in and out of. You can hear neighbors a bit through the thin walls, though it wasn’t too loud or disturbing. Luggage racks, working hand soap bottles, and opening windows would be nice touches. Otherwise, a wonderful stay, and we’d absolutely return.

The view was the only decent part. My mom and I stayed in Nantucket Inn unit #1 last weekend, and it was a very unpleasant stay. We were told at the last minute that the hot tub was out of service. The furniture was torn and falling apart, the curtain rods had a lot of rust, and the kitchen had no curtains, leaving it visible from the beach and neighboring properties. We couldn’t use the kitchen door to get out to the porch. On our first day, we returned from dinner to find the kitchen floor flooded from a ceiling leak and significant water damage. I called Meredith lodging and got no help, just a promise that maintenance would come right over. The maintenance guy arrived the next day with a bucket and said the owners had “unsuccessfully” tried to fix the issue. If this was ongoing, why weren’t we told and accommodated? We’d never have rented it knowing this. Why keep guests in a place that’s clearly falling apart and unsafe, then not deal with the problem? We paid over $1000 and I’m still waiting to speak to a manager and get a refund. I’ll never rent this place or use Meredith lodging again, and won’t recommend them. They seem to care only about the money, not the property or guests. Choose carefully and check for issues before you stay. This place needs to be shut down. I have videos and photos, so management can’t deny what happened. Take responsibility for your property and business.

This was our first vacation in over 10 years, and management’s failure to provide what they promised ruined it. My wife reserved the room three months ahead and specifically asked for a balcony, which she was told we’d have. There wasn’t one when we arrived. The bathtub had hair and a visible water line, and the windows were dirty. We couldn’t turn down the gas stove, so the room was roasting all the first night. The next day I shut off its gas so we could at least have one decent night. Our kids had separate hotel rooms, paid a lot less, and got balconies and clean rooms. When we complained, we were told it was a misunderstanding and offered 10% off a future visit. That visit will never happen. It wasn’t worth the money.

The room was clean and had no odd smells, and the view and beach access were GREAT! There’s a staircase from the property down to the beach. The bed squeaked and wasn’t very comfortable, maybe because it was a bit outdated. Still, it was a real treat, and I’ll definitely come back. It had a jetted tub, ocean view, fireplace, and kitchenette, and was close to the casino, food, and shopping.
