The king room felt open and spacious, and the new furniture, bed, and chairs were all comfortable. It’s right on the beach, and even without a view, I’d still say this place was great.

We’d booked an ocean-view room for our anniversary trip a month and a half ahead and had an email confirmation. When we arrived, they couldn’t find the reservation, even after we showed them the email. They said it hadn’t made it into their system. With every ocean-view room taken, they offered us a parking-lot room at full price. The mistake itself was bad, but their cold, unapologetic response was worse. There was no discount, voucher for a future stay, or offer to cover even part of another room. We’d stayed here for years, but we’re done. We had to drive home. Update: They emailed me today asking how my stay was and requesting a positive review. Apparently the reservation had made it somewhere in their system after all.

Great view, beach access, and a fire pit. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a TV, microwave, and mini fridge. The bathroom was very nice too. It’s pet-friendly, and first-floor rooms have patios. I think some rooms have an in-room jacuzzi. This could be Lincoln City's best-kept secret.

We came for a night away after a difficult death in the family, but the visit was a letdown. We arrived late on Jan 10th and found that the TV remote didn’t work. The next morning there was no hot water. The front desk man said the motel was at capacity, the tank showed low, and we should wait 15 minutes. We waited 30, but still couldn’t shower, so we drove home instead of spending the rest of the day at the beach. At checkout I asked for some kind of refund. Jeremy at the front desk offered a $25 gift certificate and said he’d talk to his wife when she came in that afternoon. I still haven’t heard from them. I’m frustrated and disappointed, and won’t stay again.
