Courtyard by Marriott Providence Lincoln

We loved the breakfast, and adding the breakfast deal to the room cost was definitely worth the little extra. Everyone on staff was really nice. The room was clean, and the pool and hot tub were very nice and stayed open late. 10/10, I recommend this hotel!

I booked a wedding room block here, with many of my guests staying at the hotel for our wedding weekend. It was a terrible experience from beginning to end. For three weeks beforehand, I kept calling to confirm that the bartender would be available until 12:30, as the sales team had promised when we booked. I left several messages for the sales representative, a manager, or anyone who could confirm it. Nobody ever called back. On the wedding night, front desk employee Lois was extremely rude and unhelpful. Rather than trying to sort things out, the hotel called the police on me in my own hometown, with dozens of our wedding guests staying there. As a local business owner, I found that incredibly embarrassing and completely unnecessary. It wasted local police resources, and hotel staff should have handled it professionally. To top it off, they didn’t switch the room keys properly, so the groom was locked out of his room for nearly an hour on his wedding day. The lack of communication, the sales team’s broken promises, the rude front desk service, and the way our wedding block was handled made this unacceptable. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend the hotel for weddings or special events. I’d like corporate to contact me about this.

The café downstairs was handy for a quick coffee or snack, and there’s a 7eleven within walking distance for snacks and other things. Parking was easy, and the location felt safe. The lobby is modern and inviting, and they have a gym and pool. From the moment I arrived, the Courtyard by Marriott in Providence Lincoln felt clean, quiet, and well kept. The front desk staff welcomed me and got me checked in quickly. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and everything I needed for a relaxing visit. It was a smooth stay, and I’d definitely book here again.

The customer service world needs more Regina’s. As long as Regina works here, this place will stay top-notch. She’s the nicest person I’ve ever seen at a hotel, and I told her so. Her service made our stay so much better. Give her a raise!
