The price was around $90 a night for us, and after seeing rates as low as $50+, I feel we overpaid. Maybe my expectations would’ve been different at the lower price. I’m baffled by the four-star rating. I’m at another hotel now with the same rating and similar price, and the experience is far better. I’d never recommend this place or stay again. We were passing through with family on our way to Colorado. Our first room had a shower drain that wouldn’t clear, and we were handed a plunger to deal with it. There was hair all over the threadbare sheets, so we changed rooms. The second room wasn’t much better. The tub drained only a little faster, there was still some hair on the sheets, and the middle comforter layer looked like it hadn’t been washed for several turns, with brown stains and dirt. There was water damage on the wall. The stairway light was out, and many interesting people were hanging around the hotel entrance, seeming to have a good time. The hotel van looked like it had been broken into, with shattered glass. The floors were noticeably dirty, and the pool was empty of water in mid-June.

I wanted to be happy with my stay, but the shower only ran from half the showerhead for my first three days. On my last night, I used the laundry. The wash was fine, but the dryer didn’t work, and I had to leave at 4 a.m. I told the woman at the front desk, who said they’d found out earlier but hadn’t put up a sign.

The bed was nice, and that’s about all I can say. Breakfast was cold egg patties and sausage, the shower had no pressure, and there was mold and hair all over the bathroom. The toilet wouldn’t flush. Don’t get your hopes up.

Room 213 had a nice bed, and the staff were nice. The toilet seat was loose. At night the water heater seemed to be off or something, since I couldn’t get warm water, but there was warm water in the morning. The breakfast was basic but solid, and the price was good. The mini fridge made a lot of noise overnight until I turned down the cooling setting.
