RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain

The location made it easy to walk to coffee, grocery stores, restaurants, banks, shops, and other fun in Lincoln. We also loved walking along the river trail and seeing the beautiful, well-kept grounds. There was plenty to enjoy at the resort. The outdoor pool was heated for cooler nights, and both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs were warm and relaxing. I read beside the firepits in the pool area, and the poolside bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There’s an arcade for kids or kids at heart, vending machines for late-night candy, and washers and dryers for guests. The gym was large and clean, with up-to-date machines, though I didn’t use it. We didn’t have time for the winery, but are excited to try the wines next time, and would like to take yoga classes at the studio. My husband and I came for a few nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was a fabulous stay. Samantha greeted us at check-in with a cheerful attitude. Our one-bedroom was beautiful, clean, and spacious, with chocolates and a sweet card wishing us a happy first wedding anniversary. The fireplace, balcony, full kitchen, and soaking tub were lovely touches. The kitchen had all the utensils and cooking supplies we needed, and there were plenty of towels, shampoo, and conditioner. The bed was comfortable, the blackout curtains worked well, and we heard little to no noise from outside or the hallway. The on-site restaurants were beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. We ate at both La Vista and Rhythm. Irene greeted us with a smile at La Vista, and Brad made sure we had great service. At Rhythm, our takeout order was just what we hoped for. Server Ria was kind and got us checked out quickly and efficiently. I recommend this resort to everyone I know, and I’m already excited to stay here again!

My only real complaints were the noise and having to call the front desk whenever we needed ice. The walls and ceilings seemed thin, since I could hear kids screaming next door during the day and constant stomping from the room above. At this price, I’d expect better soundproofing and an ice machine for guests. Aside from that, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are modern, clean, and well appointed. The gym, spa, and restaurants are top-notch, and I had no other complaints.

The room was big and open, with a beautiful view from the balcony, and the hotel is in a nice little mall area with plenty of amenities. It’s also within walking distance of the Loon Mt lifts. Extra points to the staff for keeping the pool table arcade room open later for my group. The only bad part was the outdoor hottub. It felt like 90 degrees at most and was almost unbearable to sit in. It was much warmer than their "4 season" pool, which was like a polar dip when it was 10 degrees outside.

There’s a nice game room and a spa here, along with an outdoor pool and both indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The hotel also has a very nice Italian restaurant and pub/grill. It’s centrally located if you want to ski at Loon Mountain, and close to good restaurants and shops.
