The hotel has some historic appeal and the staff are nice, but the rooms are small and outdated. Coffee and breakfast service can be slow. It might suit a business trip or a couple, but I wouldn't recommend it for a larger family traveling for sports.

We attended the League of Nebraska Municipalities 2026 mid winter confrence, a day and a half of meetings and breakout sessions, using two floors of the convention center. Staff were great, and the coffee and snacks arrived on time and were good on both days. My reason for taking off a star is parking. You have to pay even if you're using the ficility or staying overnight, and getting a spot can be difficult. There's no valadition. An overflow garage and street parking are available, but feeding the meter during a confrence can be tricky. Aside from that, it's a nice place.

I use the skywalk every weekday at 7am, and the posted hours say it opens by 5am. Whoever handles facilities keeps failing to leave it unlocked, so people like me have to walk outside when it's dark and really cold. I haven't stayed here, but this would make me hesitate to do so, since access to public areas is so often limited. It's not safe!

The restaurant bar had a great buffet and excellent service, and the building looked good inside and out. We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms, service, and location. You could walk to just about anywhere you wanted to go. I'd definitely stay there again.

The shower leaked and sprayed water everywhere. Room service failed to clean the room on 3 out of 5 days of my stay. It's an old-school place, but the bar had good food.
