We came for a graduation and felt at home. The front desk greeted us warmly and explained the room directions and hotel policies clearly. When one of the door locks had a technical issue, staff responded quickly. I lost count of how many times someone from the front desk came up to update us and check that we were comfortable. They offered another room and discounted one night for the inconvenience. They also let our graduate stay with us for a night, which I know some hotels don’t allow. I’d recommend Home2 suites, they’re very considerate.

Everything else was pretty good, though maybe it depends on the room. We stayed two nights, and the breakfast was a standard continental spread, with coffee in the lobby for guests. But the king bed in Room 312 was so hard that after the first night we moved to the sofa bed. We considered asking to change rooms, but didn’t want the hassle of moving our things only to end up with the same kind of bed. Our backs were really sore, exactly what you don’t want during a stay.

The rooms are large, and the staff are pleasant, but they seem badly understaffed. Housekeeping is okay, though it looks like one sweet woman is handling everything. I feel for the staff. They can’t seem to manage the many families and groups with out-of-control kids. There was constant banging, yelling, screaming, and running, making every day jarring, loud, and unpleasant.

They were very accommodating when my son found out at the last minute that he had an extra night with his liberty and needed another room. The service was wonderful, the breakfast was good quality, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and had plenty of amenities. Excellent place to stay.
