They made room for my trailer in the parking area, and the hotel is in a good part of town. There's a big open field behind it, so bright lights weren't shining into the room overnight. Check-in was easy, and the front desk worker was friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and smelled nice. The room felt a little lived-in, but it was clean otherwise and the bed was comfortable, just fine for a place to sleep.

This is an older hotel, but it's been kept up to date, and the room was nice and clean apart from two lamps that didn't work. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed dealing with all of them. I would stay again. I also liked being a couple of blocks away from the main streets. The roads back here are dead ends, which helps keep my three very small dogs safe.

We only managed to stay about two hours. The carpets were so dirty that the white had turned black, and our room hadn't been cleaned well. We brought our four-year-old for a birthday swim, but the pool water was cloudy and the area around it was dirty too. We tried to put up with it, then gave up. Getting a refund took an argument with management and several days of complaints to corporate; in the end we got 50 percent back. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if cleanliness matters to you.

We lasted 30 minutes before checking out. There was a strong musty, moldy smell as soon as we entered, and it was aggravating my asthma. Near the toilet were old stains that might have been mold or something else, while the chair and bed skirt had random marks that looked like bad attempts to clean them. I checked the bed and furniture crevices for bugs, as I always do, and found crusty buildup instead, which made the lack of cleaning hard to ignore. We'd hoped to stick it out because nearby hotels were expensive during the wine festival, but no refund was offered. I regret not reading reviews first. I've stayed in plenty of older hotels, but this level of cleanliness was concerning. Don't waste your time. SpringHill Hotel is worth it for your health and comfort.
