We had a good time together, but the location and service let us down. The “upgraded” jungle room wasn’t working for us, so we switched to a regular Jacuzzi room and they wouldn’t return the extra charge. My girlfriend was dealing with morning sickness and needed more time to get ready. I paid for another hour, but she ran a few minutes over and they kept the $5 hold even after I returned the TV controller.

From outside, the place looks like it could be great, but the room was awful and nothing like the online pictures. There was no Wi-Fi, the TV was terrible, and we had no hot water. The heat stayed on high all night, and the office couldn’t turn it off. I was exhausted and stayed, though if I’d had the energy I would’ve asked for a refund and left.

Everything went smoothly, and Brigitte at the front desk helped me book the room. The only letdown was that my partner and I wanted to use the in-room hot tub, but its power jets weren’t working.

The owners were really rude when I called about the sheets smelling like they hadn’t been washed after the previous guest. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable hotel. Trust me, stay at the SWAN hotel right next door instead. It’s 1000 times better.

The front desk team and housekeepers really go out of their way to welcome guests, and the motel is kept clean with regular upgrades. Most rooms have a Jacuzzi to relax in. They offer overnight and four-hour stays, plus weekly and monthly options in studio suites at reasonable prices. I’d say it’s the best motel in Linden NJ and the surrounding area, and I’ll stay here whenever I’m in Jersey.
