I booked this place last minute for the world ag expo, where I was exhibiting through work. My company had first reserved a hotel in Selma for $2,200 for four nights, but I found this super eight, closer to the Ag show, for about $900. Selma was 35 miles from the expo, while this one was only 16 miles away. The rooms are standard, clean, quiet, and the bed was really comfortable. Towels were clean too. It's not upgraded or a Five star hotel, but it's decent and affordable for travelers watching a corporate expense account. The front desk staff are nice, and someone is there to check you in even late at night. Breakfast options are limited, but handy when you're in a hurry. Internet can be bad in farming communities and rural areas, but I had great Internet connection here and no trouble logging in on all my devices.

We stayed one night during a road trip. The motel is in a handy spot with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and the room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. The problem was having no hot water for a shower, which really matters on a cold winter night after a long hike.

The mountain view at sunrise was unbelievable, and there are gas stations and places to eat right beside the motel. It's a great base for visiting the Sequoia & Kings Canyon, and I enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and clean. I was disappointed that there was no light in front of the mirror, and the wifi kept disconnecting.

The room and service were great. My only complaint is the lighting: there wasn't any around the basin and sink, where many women need light to put on makeup and fix their hair. The desk area could use more light too.

The location is good, and the Mexican restaurant nearby is great. The price was good too, but the mildew smell and general lack of cleaning disappointed me. We left tips for housekeeping to see if that would help, but it didn't.
