Hampton Inn & Suites Lino Lakes

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice bed, fridge, and microwave, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. When I asked for a quiet corner because of a kids’ sporting event, they helped me out, which I appreciated. A few things made the stay annoying. The phone in my room didn’t work, and staff seemed to consider that normal. The hallways and elevator smelled like they’d had years of smoking. The TV felt like something from the 1990s, with no menu, so you had to flip through channels. The ice maker was broken, too. The pool stayed open until midnight, which is great, but kids were allowed the whole time. The hot tub was full of children using it like a bathtub, so I never got to try it or the pool. I also found the coffee maker and ice bucket behind the bathroom door, which didn’t seem sanitary to me and was hard to spot. It wasn’t a terrible stay, and I’d return to this brand and hotel, though I wish things were more consistent and organized.

The kids loved the pool, and we all enjoyed the top-notch breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable, too. The hotel’s location is really convenient, close to the amenities we needed and only a short drive from the Twin Cities. We’ll definitely stay again.
