The beds were okay, the area felt pretty safe even at night, and it was surprisingly quiet. The Wi-Fi was awful, though, and the bathrooms were fairly dirty with toilets that barely flushed. You get what you pay for here. I’m giving it five stars because they’re honest about the quality for the price. When I’m traveling solo, they can have my $50-$60.

The hot water was great, which matters to me since I don’t like warm showers. The owners were polite and worked hard to make the stay enjoyable. They didn’t have an ice machine, but the owner brought us ice. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet, and the price was reasonable. We didn’t get a chance to look around or do anything nearby. I called several places before booking, and these were the politest people I spoke with. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, and I’d say they really try to make your stay worthwhile.

I paid $151 for two nights and wouldn’t recommend staying here. The online prices were wrong, and they seem to charge whatever they want. The place felt run down, with dirty floors, shower, and tables. The sink wouldn’t drain, the bathroom light kept shorting out, and there was no working smoke alarm. I won’t stay again.

After four days of driving between Michigan and Texas, I finally slept like a baby here. The king suite was ice cold, the bed was amazingly soft, and I loved the shower. My first room wasn’t right, but the owner was sweet, apologized, and offered a refund. We chose to see another room instead, and he upgraded me to the king suite. I’d recommend it and would come back if I pass through again. I’ve saved the location as a favorite ❤️
