We stayed for a week and enjoyed it. It’s a nice middle ground between an airbnb and a hotel, with a self-catered stay. The room was clean, there was plenty of parking, and the place felt safe. Deliveries from Uber Eats, Amazon, and others found the property easily, and packages were left safely and intact. The full kitchen has a stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. The courtyard has a grill and some seating. It’s cozier than the name might suggest, better for a small group of around 5 to 10 people. Fellow guests were respectful, with no loud noise or after-hours disturbances. There are plenty of garbage receptacles, and the laundry worked well. Wash and dry each cost about $3, or you could download the app and get 25 cents off. Used towels and linens were exchanged quickly at the front desk during office hours. I checked in close to midnight because my flight was delayed. I think the office closes at 6 p.m., so check with them if you’ll arrive later. There’s a number on the door for after-hours access. They answered promptly and directed me to a lockbox where my key card was secured with my designated code. After-hours entry to the property requires a room key. I’d stay here again.

The room was actually good for the price, and I was impressed by how clean it looked, except for a few marks on the stove that may be due to its nontraditional burner. My real complaint is the missing standard hotel service and staff knowledge. The shower is incredibly narrow despite there being room elsewhere in the bathroom, and getting in means stepping over the tub wall and up about six inches. It feels like they chose the cheapest option at Home Depot. The front desk wasn’t staffed when I arrived around 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday. I’d been given a code to get my room key, which was fine, but I’d requested a ground-floor room and told them I had a service animal. On the phone, staff kept talking over me, and I had to repeat myself. They missed both requests and gave me a second-floor room. I have both legs, but it wasn’t what I’d asked for, and without an elevator it was hard to unload the car and get my things upstairs. The front stairs were hard to find and poorly labeled. The luggage dolly was locked in the office after staff had left. I hang a Do Not Disturb sign on every hotel door, but none was in my room, and staff had gone for the day. The next morning I asked for more than one towel and a sign. They told me this hotel doesn’t have Do Not Disturb signs, even though I’d seen them on at least three rooms on my way back from the lobby. I understand that leaving the desk unattended may help pass savings on to guests, but they need serious hospitality training. They also need to clearly state that there’s no elevator.

We’d stayed at StayAPT Suites before and had good experiences, which made this especially disappointing. I never actually stayed this time, but the way the booking was handled was enough for me to give one star. I booked six months ahead in October and contacted the hotel several times over the past few weeks to confirm an accessible room. My son uses a wheelchair and cannot walk, so accessibility is a necessity for us. Today, I got a call and assumed it was a routine confirmation. Instead, they said our accessible room was no longer available because a current guest had decided to extend their stay. In my experience, if a room is already reserved, a guest who wants to extend is told it’s unavailable. The general manager told me, “we have to take care of our current guests.” I had a reservation too, had planned ahead, and had clearly explained our needs. Then they asked if I “truly needed” an accessible room. My son’s wheelchair and inability to walk should have answered that. It was deeply disheartening to have accessibility treated as optional or negotiable. It made me wonder whether basic ADA considerations are understood or respected. They offered a shower chair and a comped night, which I initially considered because finding another accessible room less than 24 hours before a trip is nearly impossible. But a shower chair can’t replace rails, an accessible layout, and safe functionality, so it wouldn’t meet our needs. Thankfully, Expedia found us another hotel that was even better, with the accessibility we needed, and honored our price. Without that help, our trip, with non-refundable tickets and plans, could have been ruined. The lack of care, understanding, and accountability, especially toward a family traveling with disabled children, didn’t sit right with me. Losing a room booked six months ahead and then being questioned about whether we needed accessibility is something no family should have to experience. I didn’t physically stay there, but this was enough. Do better, StayAPT Suites.

Tiffany at reception greeted me with a big, happy smile, and both she and manager Lisa remembered my name and lit up whenever I came into the office. You could tell they cared about the people staying there. They had great personalities, made great conversation, and made sure I had what I needed. My family and I had a great stay at the Stay APT Suites. The place was super cute, and Tiffany and Lisa were awesome and very accommodating. I’d definitely recommend it and will stay with them again next time I’m in the area.

My stay at stayAPT Suites Lithia Springs was one of the worst extended-stay experiences I’ve had. I travel often for business and manage lodging for many employees. After this, I’ll never stay here again or recommend this location. Before arriving, I tried calling the property for 24 hours and couldn’t reach anyone. My room smelled strongly and had barely any Wi-Fi. I asked to switch rooms and was told someone would follow up, but nobody did. During a stay of more than two weeks, the room was cleaned once, only after I went to the office to ask. Housekeeping then took another two days to show up. At the end of the stay, there was a temporary issue with my company card. I paid out of pocket for a night, told staff I’d sort it out the next morning, and agreed to continue the stay on my personal card. Instead, management came to my door and said I had to leave immediately or they’d call the police. They gave no real explanation and no chance to resolve it. It turned out they had the wrong phone number and email on file, so I never received calls or payment notices. They also tried to verify my employment by calling a random number they’d put on file by mistake, not my employer. They used that incorrect information to justify removing me. I’m still employed, and I don’t know who they contacted. I also don’t understand why StayAPT conducts employment verification for guests; it seems excessive and out of line. Worse, they gave my personal information to someone I had no association with. I believe that may break some kind of privacy law. There was no communication, my guest details on file were wrong, my personal information was shared with a random third party, and I was threatened with police over an issue I was actively trying to fix and didn’t know about. I wasn’t given a chance to resolve payment. My dealings with management, especially Lisa Freeman, were among the most difficult and unproductive customer service experiences I’ve had. She seemed unwilling to acknowledge or correct errors even after they were pointed out. Tiffany at the front desk also escalated things. She was dismissive and unhelpful, and avoided a constructive, adult conversation about resolving the problem. Even after multiple inaccuracies became clear, both continued to stand by them. I was appalled by how the whole situation was handled.
