This was my girlfriend’s first time here, though I’ve visited many times over the years. I showed her around and we stopped at the lookout point. She liked the park and is looking forward to coming back and eating at the restaurant. On my last visit I had catfish, which was very.

I've been at the campsite since Wednesday the 15th of April and haven't been able to shower in that bath house without freezing. The water coming from the faucet is cold, and my infrared thermometer read 84.2, while the shower water was 82.1. I've reported the lack of hot water for four days, but nothing has been done. They keep saying it's there, but it isn't. I need a refund. Remind me to call the health department.

I'm thrilled with the place, even though the KY Derby reservation mess forced us to stay here. Hopefully on my third visit I’ll get to hike the trails.

We were passing through Carrollton, KY on the way to Memphis and looking for dinner when we came across Two Rivers Restaurant at Genetal Butler State Park. The dining room was lovely, the staff caring and attentive, and the buffet very nice. We had a great experience.

We’ve been here twice now, and both visits were consistent. The park is beautiful, and the hotel rooms are clean, with good beds. They’re dog friendly, too.
