Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta East/Stonecrest

We loved the fitness center and Peloton room, and the hotel looked almost brand new and well cared for. The amenities were plentiful, our room was neat and clean, and the staff were really friendly. My wife and I had a fantastic stay celebrating our honeymoon anniversary. We’ll definitely come back.

The 12 o’clock checkout was the biggest plus. I don’t know if that’s always the schedule, but it was nice not having to head out between 8 and 10 in the morning. The place was fairly clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable and a good size, without being too hard. It’s a slightly above-average hotel, all in all.

There was dried dirt and food in the room carpet, and the hallway floors need more frequent cleaning. The pool and the surrounding area also need regular cleaning, even though guests are allowed to use it. Ashes were scattered through the stairwells despite the property being described as non-smoking. The rooms weren’t clean, and I won’t return.

Half an hour after breakfast began, the tables were still empty, with no food or coffee. The kitchen person hadn’t shown up to prepare breakfast. Meanwhile, the front desk employee was sitting there playing on their phone instead of making sure guests were being looked after.
