We took an extended vacation this summer, and this charming B&B in its lovely setting ended up being our favorite place to stay. Judy was so thoughtful and accommodating about every detail, and the breakfasts were amazing. We highly recommend the guesthouse!

We had a short Memorial Day weekend getaway at Forgotten Seasons. Kathy and Jay were wonderful hosts, made us feel right at home, and knew a lot about the area. The bedrooms were beautiful and clean, and breakfast was amazing. Kathy was especially accommodating with my boyfriend's diabetes, making many of the items sugar-free. We'll be back :)

The bike ride into Lititz was a special bonus. My husband and I took the trail straight from The Avenue into town. Judy made me a delicious gluten-free breakfast and was so welcoming. We first chose the historic house for its modern amenities, but the ride and breakfast turned out to be lovely treats.

We stayed while visiting Longwood Gardens, which was an hour away. The drive was beautiful, with plenty of places to stop along the way. The Avenue Guesthouse and Gallery is just outside town, and the town itself is lovely, with great food both downtown and at home, lovingly made by Judy. The resident manager was amazing and went well beyond what we'd expected. We enjoyed long conversations and her endless smile and energy, along with great food and the best wine ever. From the moment you walk in, the place feels welcoming and peaceful, like home, with so much warmth and love. I'd highly recommend it.

Jay and Kathy were such a hospitable, unassuming couple, and we enjoyed hearing about the home's history and getting to know them during our stay. We found this B&B online and stayed last weekend. It's warm, homey, and immaculately kept. Kathy is a wonderful cook, making everything from scratch, and it was all delicious. Jay has done a great job restoring the building and grounds to their former glory, adding updates while keeping the feel of centuries past. Take a closer look for yourself, you'll be glad you did!
