The room was in such bad shape that I stayed less than five minutes. The bed had been slept in, the shower had been used, and staff were spraying for bugs. I found lots of bugs on the floor and in the bath towels. I’d called ahead because I needed a room for the night and was quoted $87 plus tax, so I made a reservation. At check-in, the total came to $200. They kindly offered a refund, and I left right away to find another hotel. I’d recommend the Country Inn & Suites down the road.

We had a great stay with our family. The rooms were a reasonable price, clean, and had comfortable beds. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean too. Breakfast was hot, really good, and had plenty of choices. The pool area was clean and well kept, and the water felt very nice.

He told us he slept really well and was glad to have a bed for the night instead of his car. I’m so grateful the manager helped my son when he was worried and scared. He was trying to get home from the cities on Tuesday November 25th, but the storm stopped him. He was stuck in Royalton until the plows came, then drove very slowly to the hotel. I called ahead to check that he could stay. The woman said the computers were down and she couldn’t do anything yet. I explained I’d booked on the website and sent him the confirmation, and she said he could stay. The computers were still down when he arrived. At first they wouldn’t rent him a room because he was only 18, and then his card wouldn’t work for some reason. We called and explained what was going on. The manager agreed to rent him a room with a $100 deposit and let us pay over the phone.

We enjoyed the hot tub. It was relaxing, the pool area was clean, and neither had that pool smell. The hotel and our room were clean and smelled nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, though the coffee was terrible. I don’t expect much from hotel coffee anyway. The door lock was the one real problem. It was supposed to be checked by maintenance, but I’m not sure they looked at it during our stay. They offered to cancel our stay or move us, but options were limited because of the weekend’s events, and they were fully booked for another room. We took extra precautions and had no issues.

We asked the front desk before booking whether the hot tub was actually hot, since it had only been tepid on our last visit. We like to soak after a long drive, and the woman assured us it was hot. It wasn’t, so we ended up taking a hot shower to warm up. She didn’t seem interested in the tub’s condition and mostly wanted to complain about folding towels. This was our second stay at the AmericInn in Little Falls, MN, and it’ll be our last. A waste of Wyndham points.
