Capital Hotel

We had a wonderful anniversary, thanks in large part to Angela at The Capital Hotel. From the minute we arrived she made us feel welcome and looked after, with kindness, professionalism and attention to detail. She went above and beyond and made the stay special. She’s truly the heart of the hotel. We’ll definitely be back because of her. Thank you, Angela! Candy and Michael Hensley.

The lamb at the restaurant was fantastic, the best we’ve ever had. Our room was on the small side, but spotless, with an excellent bed and bath, a TV that worked perfectly, and a quiet night’s sleep. The stately, elegant foyer and common areas really suit the name “Capital.” Billy at Valet and Kyle at the Bar & Grill were kind, friendly and a pleasure to talk with, and both went above and beyond. We stayed at The Capital Hotel in Little Rock last night and couldn’t have been happier. We’ll definitely return.

The Capital Hotel is stunning, well maintained and welcoming, and the staff are what make it stand out. Chandler greeted me warmly when I needed help and made a lasting impression with his kindness and professionalism. When the room’s AC had a problem, he personally made sure it was fixed quickly and properly, then checked back to see that I was comfortable. He clearly cares about guests’ experience. From start to finish, I had an incredible stay.

I’ve stayed here several times and gone to the breakfast restaurant each December without a reservation. This morning, we were turned away outright because we hadn’t booked ahead. They wouldn’t even let us wait for a table. We paid over $400 for one night, partly because we enjoy having breakfast at the hotel. I wish someone at the desk had warned us; we would’ve made a reservation. I didn’t realize a breakfast place would take reservations only. I’m so disappointed, and this has really put me off coming back.
