Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Little Rock SW

The place smelled like marijuana, and the room felt extremely dirty. We even found a used condom on the floor when we checked in, so it clearly hadn’t been cleaned well. There’s a sign advertising complimentary breakfast, but there isn’t any. The lower price might have been worth it if the place weren’t disgusting.

The second room was better, and they kindly moved us to the ground floor. Still, the hot water ran out when the tub was only half full. I switched because the first room smelled smoky and musty. When I booked through Choice Rewards, the pictures showed a jet tub, and that’s what I expected, but the room I booked for $85 cost $145 when I arrived. That was disappointing. On the plus side, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and I could watch my own shows on Netflix and Prime, unlike at regular hotels.

The room was spacious and clean, and I felt safe even though of the area. The lobby did smell like weed, but it was a good deal for what I got. When the friendly desk man saw me trying to work out where to park my trailer, he came outside to help and gave me a room where I could see my truck and trailer, which had valuables on it.

For a truck driver, finding a place that checks every box is hard. This one had room for our truck, a clean room, working refrigerator and A/C, a great price, and no bugs at all. The staff were kind and very helpful. Ten out of ten, definitely recommend!
