We couldn't get a decent night's rest because there was remodeling down the hall, and the place felt so gross that we wouldn't have stayed another night anyway. The floor felt greasy and looked awful, the room ceiling was coming apart, and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom was dirty, and the fire detector was wrapped in plastic. The building smelled like pot, too. At the desk, we were told there'd be a fee for checking out early. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The front desk was helpful, the price was right, and I could see my car from the well-lit room. The fridge was ice cold. I can't say much about the rest of the room, though. Hall carpets were badly stained, and the shower curtain looked old and moldy. The toilet needed several flushes, the microwave didn't work, and the sheets had cigarette burns. The dryer put holes in my tops and ruined my clothes. I'm a country girl who packs her freedom, and without pinky I would've felt afraid.

The next morning there was coffee in the lobby, but only real sugar and powdered creamer. There wasn't any coffee in the room, either, so if you're diabetic, that's a problem. The bathroom had no soap or Kleenex, and its toilet wouldn't flush at all. We reported that, but nobody came to fix it. We also found that the fridge door had no shelves, and only two shelves and no drawers remained inside. Pictures and accessories seemed to have been ripped off the walls, leaving holes. The hall carpet was so filthy I wouldn't let my grandchildren walk there, even with shoes on. When we arrived, the hospitality area's coffee pot was dirty and empty. The smoke detector had been taken apart, and shrink wrap covered a sprinkler, leaving it useless. We told the front desk, which said someone would repair them, but nothing had been done by checkout. Outside, the hotel looked great, and its 3.5-star rating led us to give it a chance. Some lamps and accessories even reminded me of a four-star hotel I'd stayed at, but that was where the resemblance ended. We should've checked references better before trusting a place where we were supposed to sleep.

We booked three nights while in town, but left without staying because someone in our group has a severe allergy and the renovation odors were a problem. The hotel hadn't disclosed the remodeling before we booked. Paint, drywall, and varnish smells filled the hallways, with dust everywhere. Our room was filthy, smelled of cigarettes, had a broken mattress, and an unsecured toilet. Vents were coming off the ceiling, and there was a brick sitting in the middle of the hotel for no clear reason. The staff were extremely rude. I was told refunds required manager approval under their no-refund policy, but nobody could reach the manager. Apparently he was unavailable at 2 on a Wednesday. The guy at reception even screamed at me when I raised my concerns. We still got no refund, despite leaving because of the smell and the medical issue. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The room smelled bad, and the carpet was filthy and coming loose from the floor. When I took my shoes off, then sat on the bed, I found a wad of black hair on my foot. The comforters looked like they'd come from a homeless person, with cigarette burns and paint all over them. There was no icebox or coffee pot, and the toilet wouldn't flush. I saw how it looked online, but the actual place was horrible. I won't go back, and can't even give it a star. The one star is only because the site wouldn't let me post without one.
