MainStay Suites Little Rock West Near Medical Centers

I stayed for a couple of weeks and had a great experience. The kitchenette was simple to use and had the basics for cooking. Staff were fine, and everything was as expected. I'd stay again if I needed a place.

The rooms were really clean. After checkout, my friend realized he'd left his ID in the room. We came back a couple of hours later, and they let us in to get it without any hassle. Five stars!

The staff are all very friendly, and the rooms are clean. The building and grounds are well maintained, though there's a huge storage container in an awkward spot. Key card locks can be annoying when they stop working on your room but work on the hallway doors, or the other way around. For years I didn't realize this was a hotel because the sign faces an elevated hill, with no sign on the side with the entrance or the side visible from the road. Breakfast would help take the property to the next level. One night I waited at the desk, and the new tall man was dressed all in black and didn't look like an employee. My personal suggestion: turn the mini gym into a sauna, and reservations would increase 30-50%.

The smell in the room was atrocious, like mold, fried food, and marijuana all mixed together. The sheets were stained and dirty, and the floors had dirt and food scraps everywhere. The woman at reception was rude and unhelpful, and they won't refund my money. I booked this place to rest on a road trip, but left as soon as I saw the room and found another hotel. The Google reviews are all bots, as far as I'm concerned. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not stay here.
