Motel 6 Little Rock, AR - South

I left before I'd even stayed a full day because the place was nasty and uncomfortable, and not worth the money. It felt unsafe, with heavy drug use in the hallways and people hanging around who seemed connected to it. The thin walls also meant you could clearly hear people having sex. The online photos were completely misleading and didn't match the real rooms at all. I didn't take pictures at the time, but the experience was enough to make me leave right away.

I've been staying at the Little Rock South Motel 6 for over five months because a storm damaged my house. The place is kept very clean, with regular housekeeping and maintenance, and they're quick to handle repairs. I stay on the Studio side, which costs a few dollars more and has a full-size fridge, sink, counter, coffee maker, and cooktop. The standard rooms have a microwave and mini fridge. Staff at every level are nice and very helpful.

I’ve never stayed at a Motel 6 this well kept. They clearly put effort into cleanliness and check that everything is working. My room was quiet, clean, and bug-free. Really impressed by how much they care. Keep it up!

The whole stay felt like being locked in a cell. Guests and visitors all have to show ID at the desk, and they require daily room checks, so you have to leave while staff go in to look around for maintenance issues. The staff came across as hateful, selfish, and greedy, and the rooms were nasty. My adult kids, both over 18 but not yet 21, booked a week through Priceline. Someone 21 had to check in, so I checked in the two who had arrived. My 21-year-old daughter had booked for four people, and another child was still two days away from Arkansas. I had my own place and wasn't staying there. When my daughter arrived with her plus one and the two already there, that filled the four beds we had paid for. They still refused to remove my name from the room and charged us for another bed for the whole week. My kids had driven over 1,000 miles to visit, so we paid. We wanted to spend time together, but their TV wouldn't work with our Xbox. I brought up an old 42-inch TV I use for the Xbox. After my daughter paid for more nights on Priceline, the hotel wouldn't honor that booking and kicked the kids out, saying their policy bans outside furniture. They had already paid, and now had no room or money. We know how hard a Priceline refund can be, and they'd planned their trip finances around this. Police got involved. Nothing serious happened, but it helped with the Priceline refund. The owner or manager wouldn't come out to discuss it and hid in the office. Don't waste your money here. These people were truly hateful.
