The room was clean, though the bed was hard. The TVs are small, there’s no snack machine, and there’s a store close by. I was in town for several Dr's appointments and found the hotel after finishing early on the first day. I asked to check in 40 minutes ahead of time, but they wanted another $25 for that, on a $60 room. I passed, checked in at 3:01, and checked out exactly at 11:00 the next morning.

The receptionist was rude, and I’m not coming back. The hotel was empty, yet I was put on the second floor, twenty two rooms away from the elevator, exactly halfway down the hall. It felt deliberate. I couldn’t get through to customer service, either. As a paying guest, I expected better treatment. I know nothing will come of my complaint, so it feels like a waste of time.

An older, small motel, but the value and little thoughtful touches surprised me in a good way. It felt safe despite its appearance. The floors are hardwood, so bring slippers. The AC was comfortable, the bed firm, and the pillows decent. The shower was excellent, with hot water right away. It’s right by the freeway and has no frills. I’ll stay again.

I paid a deposit and never got it back, even though I cleaned the room like it was my own house. Everything except the beds was nasty, so I ended up paying twice for nothing. The room was filthy and the staff had nasty attitudes. The housekeeper clearly doesn’t know how to clean. I won’t be back.

The location felt a little iffy, but we had no trouble. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the bed was softer than I expected. We slept well and I’d stay here again.
