Every staff member worked so hard to make the weekend perfect. Stephanie, Ben, Samantha, Candace, Fernando, and all the kitchen staff made the food absolutely amazing. Madi, Whitney, and everyone else were part of it, too. Kelly was the best wedding planner ever. She handled the food and meal planning perfectly, and it was delicious. She also put up with a lot from me, the neurotic mother of the bride, haha. We had our daughter’s wedding in September of 2025, and the experience was beyond anything we’d imagined. The hospitality and attention to detail were incredible. The venue was stunning, the perfect setting for a perfect wedding, with beautiful rooms in the lodge, cabins, and cottages. It felt like an army of people had made the whole weekend a fairy tale. I’ll surely leave some people out since I don’t know everyone’s name, but everyone made it wonderful. Best place for a mountain getaway ever. Beautiful!

The mountain view was stunning, and we had a spacious room with an updated bathroom and a decently comfortable bed. We loved relaxing late at night in the hot tub and by the fire pits. My Switzerland Inn Signature message with Marsha at the Spa was absolutely phenomenal. The front desk staff were exceptional throughout our weekend, and the customer service really impressed me. It’s such a beautiful place to stay. I’d definitely like to visit again and highly recommend it.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a good number of things to do nearby made for a wonderful overnight with my wife. We enjoyed the evening firepits and attached Chalet restaurant. It’s a fun weekend getaway, or even for longer, if you want a central base within driving distance of both the Boone and Asheville areas. The amenities were nice, too.

We didn’t stay at the Inn, but we had an amazing meal at the fowl play pub. The food and cocktails were incredible, and the service was the highlight of the whole experience. Richard and his counterpart, a beautiful brunette whose name I didn’t catch, were both so accommodating and anticipated everything we needed. I’m thrilled we stumbled on this place. It was one of the best all-around dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I can’t recommend it enough.
