Amber at the front desk made a stressful late-night situation much easier. We’d just left another hotel after finding our room in a disgusting state around midnight on Friday. Amber said she had a room for us and could help sort out the reservation when we got there. She was knowledgeable and reassuring, and we felt taken care of. Her warm service stood out after the bad Holiday Inn experience, and at a time when that kind of customer care can be hard to find. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower had strong pressure, and the towels and washcloths were fluffy. The hotel is easy to reach from the highway and near attractions. We also recommend the Italian restaurant connected to Carboy Winery. Thanks to Amber and the Courtyard Marriott for a lovely stay.

Mercedes at the restaurant bar made my mornings. By the third day she already knew my coffee order, and she was always friendly and courteous. The food and coffee were tasty and came out quickly. The renovated interior looks beautiful, and the rooms have a fun mix of retro and modern style. Staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. The gym could use more equipment, since it only had dumbbells, benches, and treadmills. I’d stay here again when I’m in the Denver area.

The room smelled bad, things weren’t working, and I’m not sure when it was last cleaned properly. The bed was definitely not queen size, more like a full. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the TV didn’t work. We usually pick Marriott because it’s consistently decent, so booking this one was a huge regret. They also tried to charge for a service animal, which isn’t legal or okay.

After our days at the funeral, it was such a relief to return each night to a peaceful, relaxing hotel. The service was caring and friendly.
