We spent five days at a condo in the community, and the grounds were lovely, full of gorgeous flowers and very well kept. Our spacious unit had one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. The kitchen was fully equipped, the appliances were relatively new, and the wifi worked great. The AC did its job, though we only used it once or twice. Our unit was close to the pool, which was nice and well maintained, and there were three or four BBQ grills nearby. Poipu Beach is a beautiful beach about five minutes away. Two small shopping areas, with restaurants, small shops, and a Longs Drug store, are two to four minutes from the property. One had a pretty good pizza place, which our girls loved. There aren't any major supermarkets close by. Safeway is about a 30-minute drive, so pick up groceries after you land, on the way to the condo, if you'll be cooking. A few things weren't clear when we booked: roosters start crowing at sunrise after the otherwise quiet nights; stairs lead up and down to the unit entrance; our unit had no beach gear, including chairs, snorkel gear, umbrellas, or boogie boards; the community isn't gated; a key fob is needed for the pool; and there's not much of a view. Even so, we'd definitely stay here again.
